Take a look at the photographs by the photographers HERE. I bet you can predict my questions.
Which photogrpaher do you think is the most talented of the group? Why? Which image speaks to you the most? Why? Do any of them have a style that motivates you to try something different?

I definitely think george geogiou is the most talented of the group the other pictures seem absolutely pointless and show no extraordinary skill with a camera the look like anyone can point and click to get those same photos. The one picture that stood out to me was of the boy screaming because it’s a powerful shot and well taken.
John Darwell. His photos I don’t know they ketch my eye. I like how they have a hint of green in a weird green way. The one with the water bottle in the rocks. I like it because it is very creative even though its a water bottle its a great picture.
Ya the color in them.
I think George Geogiou because he takes pictures that capture the viewers attention. The one with the guy screaming next to the camera gets my attention the most because it captures a lot of emotion. No i think the rest of them suck and i don’t like George’s style makes you feel so bad.
The person I like the best but might not be the best photographer in the group is John Darwell. I like his stuff because some of it is kind of random. I like the up close shot of the water bottle. I think that that one is really sweet. I think that this is just teaching me to take pictures of whatever and whenever. You can find something to photograph things in the strangest situation.
I like david wolf the most. my favorite of his is the coca cola sign. none of them really motivate me to do something new i just think a lot of them are cool looking.
To be honest, I didn’t really like any of the pictures I saw. There wasn’t really any meaning to any of them that I could see and I thought they were all just a bunch of random pictures.
My favorite of the group was John Darwell. I liked him because his pictures were of more natural things and I just like that style more. The photo that stood out to me was the one of the water bottle that had the moss on it. It made me want it to be summer! I like to pick up the beach and the parks when I can so that’s what it made me think of.
I think that john darwell is the most talented of the photographers. His work is the most creative and unique. The image that speaks to me the most is the one with the bottle on the rocks. That image motivates me to design a picture somewhat similar to that.
I think that John Darwell is the most talented out of all the photographers, why ? because he has really good ideas out of every one else like the picture of the bottle thats my favorite you can see the reflection of the city in the bottle and its beautiful . The only photo that speaks to me is the bottle one .
Wow. I can’t even pick one that i think is the most talented. They are all very talented! They take very very incredible pictures. The reason i like Alan George because his pictures make me feel so so happy and like I’m free. I don’t know why. But all the pictures he took seem happy and exciting or something. John Darwells pictures make me feel interested or something. Like I’m in a different country or something. They just seem sort of mysterious or something. I like David wolfes pictures because the make me feel happy too. There all colorful and it gives me a sense of hope. And George Geogious pictures make me feel sad. They make me feel like i need to do something to help out. It also makes me realize. There are some really sad things that go on in this world. The last dude pictures were okay. They didn’t speak out to me as much. But i did like his picture of the lady smoking the cigarette.
John Darwell, because the way he takes his photos. the david wolf left behind. the one with the little black boy thats missing. because its like nobody cared to find him. or thats the way it looks to me. the George Geogiou because it make me want to help people.
I like Alan George the best. He seems to take a picture of what seems like nothing, but turns it into something. My favorite picture of his is either the one with two trees or the skeleton. I love how it is so there. I don’t really know how to explain it.
I think that the most talented photographer is John Darwell. I really like his pictures because they are different and really creative. The water bottle picture with the algae on it really speaks to me. I just love how he has the has the stringy things on the outside of the bottle. I like his style on the beach and the subject in focus and the back round is in the distance an out of focus.
i like david wolfs stuff the most. i think he is the most talented of the group. but non of his stuff is all that exciting! all the pics that he took are pics that any one can take. so its not that interesting to me. . . . . . . .
I really like George Geogiou photos of the psychiatric ward. His photos just kinda seeem creepy and cool. And my favorite of them is the one of the guy screaming. None of them really inspired me though.
I didn’t really like any of those pictures. They all had furniture and stuff in them. I thought they were all completely stupid. But you know, whatever floats your boat. I kinds liked one of them. George Geogiou was probably the most creative. I really liked most of his pictures. I liked them because they were in black and white and stuff.
A lot of these pictures are really random, but at the same time I really like them. I think I like the work of David Wolf, the whole “left behind” idea is really neat. It is interesting to see what people have left behind. The image that speaks to me the most to me is the one of the missing child. It is simple and yet it tells so much. I think that that picture is clever, and it still goes along with the idea of left behind. The new style that motivates me is to take pictures of randomness, it may not be the most beautiful object but pictures of random stuff can tell a lot.
I think George Geogiou is the most talented photographer throughout the group. He uses his images to capture the emotion of people and portray a story. The image that speaks to me the most is the picture if the guy who is on the table showing that his legs have been amputated. This is a very powerful picture because it shows the emotion of the guy. He is looking up at the ceiling with his mouth partially open. This pictures portrays the difficulties that this man is going to have to overcome throughout his life. Darwell is probably who motivates me to try something new when it comes to taking pictures. The picture of the water bottle with what looks like seaweed on it, inspires me to be more aware of my natural surroundings and see what pictures nature creates for me.
the photos and the artist that stuck out the most was george geogius. his photos show how people live and its sad. some of the photos did give me new ideas.
I think that George Geogiou is the most talented because the emotions that his photos express are beyond words. The image that speaks to me the most is the one of John Darwell’s of the bottle covered in moss on the rocks. I like this one because of the barren setting and how it looks like there a world or something inside of the bottle. This photo inspires me to get out and explore, looking for simple yet detailed photos.
I feel that the photographer that is most talented would be David Wolf because of his style. The photographs, on the other hand, lack in creative definition. The meaning behind the picture is not apparent. Each picture does have a story with it, but, most of the stories are powerless. The only part of these photographs that motivates me is the fact that they are in interesting locations. I would want to experiment with different environment.
umm i think that they are weird pictures and i dont really get them.
i do not think that this is a good idea but, this photos are kind of suckish.
I think that george georgio Is the most talented because when i look at his photos they like convey something like hurt almost. I really liked the water bottle picture that john darwell took. I think it just looks sweet.
I think that David Wolf was one of the most talented because I like how he does a specific theme in his photographs. I like the one with the missing boy photo because it speaks for itself. I don’t really have a style yet, so no, none of them really inspire me.
i like the first batch of pictures. it kinda looks like where i used to live hahah, but not that ghetto. but i really liked those. and it looks really easy to take pictures like that but i know there is more to it than just sitting there and shooting it.
but i really like them all
I like the photographer John Darwell. I think he has a lot of creativity and is english so that is awesome. I love the photo of the bottle on the ground, its very colorful and a great viewing. It definitely motivates me.
I think Alan George was my favorite. His photo of the couch that was on the hill was really neat. It really was urban and gave it a real cool feeling.
I think that all the photographers are very very talented. I didn’t really have a favorite because I liked them all. The one that speaks to me the most is the one of the man giving his girlfriend or wife his cigerette. It gives people an idea of how horrible the drug world looks.
George Geogiou to me is the best out of the group, because his pictures tell us about the poor conditions some people have to live in. The picture that speaks to me the most is the one with the man with half a body sitting on that couch thing. I also think its kinda depressing.
I really liked the ones with like, sofas in the middle of the street.
I’m not sure why.
I think David Wolf’s photos are reawlly intesting and neat, they are just different and unique and i love them. All of his photos speak to me, they are all very different and unique. All of his photos make me wanna take “differnt” photos and thrive to do something diffenrt and not to just take normal typical photos.
i like George Georgiou the best. His pictures are different and good. I like the Three Mile island photo. The colors look really awesome on it. None of them really motivated me.
I really liked the photos of John Darwell. His photos were very unique and I loved that he had color which I think makes a photo more fun. The photo that stood out to me the most was the one with the bottle on the beach. I also liked how he got down to the level of the bottle which gave some pointers.
I thought that the first photographer was the most talented. Because i thought all of his pictures and the most creative. the image that spoke to me the most was the one that really disturbed me it was from Stuart Parker. It was a picture of a lady on the ground and some guy was grabbing her head and giving her a cigarette. And no none of the picture motivated me.
i really liked David wolf his photos are really cool. they have the sense that everything is alone and believe that. The i would have to say the 9th one down.
I’m not going to lie, they all have talent. The pictures by George Geogiou scare me a little. I wouldn’t have wanted to go to a psychiatric institution and shoot some pics but he did well. My favorite would be David Wolf’s pictures. I love the one that he shot of the open book. I don’t know why, but its really cool. It definitely motivates me to shoot something different.
To tell you the truth i do not like a lot of these pictures. i Do like some of John Darwells pictures but, a lot of these pictures i just do not get what they mean or what they are trying to tell someone. but i do like some of John Darwells and some of Alan George.I think the picture i like the most is from john and it is of a little bottle or something and it has a face in the sand. I like that one probably the most.
I like both of the George’s photos. I liked the way Alan George’s photos were all still life but they seemed to have ‘personality’ to them. I also noticed he used a lot of natural borders to frame the focus of his pictures. I liked George Georgio’s photos because they conveyed emotion and he really seemed to capture the mood and capture what the persons were feeling.
I think that Tony Fouhse is a talented photographer. i loved the blue in the picture and it’s was different from the other pictures i looked at. Also The Tony Fouhse picture spoke to me the most. It stuck out and it just got my eye. i don’t know the really know the reason, or how I would explain it, but it spoke to me. Not really anything else made me feel inspired or want to do anything different.
I think the photo that John Darwell took of the water bottle on the stones was the most talented one. I really liked that one because he took a piece of trash and turned it into a nice picture. I like the angle the picture was taken at. The missing photo by David Wolf speaks to me a little. I really don’t like that kind of stuff. I like how some of the photos could you trash but make a decent looking photo.
I like the photos of John Darwell. I like his photos because I think that they are very creative. I like the photo with the water bottle on the beach. I think that it is very cool that you can see the water reflection in the water bottle. I also love the colors that are in this image with the sea weed on the bottle. The photos that motivates me to try something different are the photos that have the furniture in the middle of the street. The other photos that motivate me to try something different are the ones that have the little travelosity man on the beach.
i like david wolf because the u haul one is simple and doesn’t have too much in it also it was the first one.
I think that alan george i the best out of all of them because i just liked the picture of the dresser in the middle of the street just to get on to the web site of his.
none of them really interest me there a little blah to me.
I like the ones by Alan George they are leading lines and it is cool that all of them go to something.I also like the nature ones they are really cool because its like stuff thats there and people don’t even realize it…
i like john darwall he has some cool photos i really like the one with the bottle it is a cool picture meby i will try to take more macro pictures they look really cool
I like John Darwell’s the best. His stuff looks old and vintage and thats the stuff i like to see sometimes. Also the third guy, I can’t quit remember his name but it is pretty sharp and nice looking.
-dirty land pirate.
George Geogiou is the photographer I like the most among all of them because his pictures to me seem like they have a deeper meaning, in relation to how I look at all of these photos. They are all very good photographers, but Geogiou’s photos reach out to me and draw me in. All of his images speak to me almost equally. They are different, and they capture a different side of humanity. I think they all have different styles that could each motivate me to try many new things with my own photographs.
I think that the best one out of the group is George Geogiou. he has some weird pictures but they are better than al the others because they have people in them and just look so much better. None of them really speak to me because they are all pretty boring they don’t really have any of them that catches your eye. I don’t think that they have styles that motivate me to try something different. They all look like they have the same style to me.
I Think David Wolf’s pictures are the best because they are like a trashy but original set up photo’s and character comes out of some of them at me. I really liked the tv one right in the middle of a old concrete set up of some sort. They motivate me to shoot the original stuff.
I liked David Wolf, and John Darwell’s photographs. I like the U-Haul truck next to a bums home, its kinda of humorous. and one by John would be one like the near empty parking lot on the beach, you would think it would be full, the old canoe on the old creek just left there. If I ever found it I would take it and fix it for use, and the water tower was cool, reminds me of one I know of around here. all the styles motivate me to take pictures.
I really liked the photographs of Alan George and John Darwell. I liked the simplicity of the photographs of Alan George. I liked John Darwell’s work because I thought that it offered some different angles and some really neat views. My favorite photo was the water bottle on the beach with water and seaweed. I like how you can see through the water in the bottle. The composition was very pleasing to the eye. I think that all of them offered a little bit different styles that motivate me to try.
I like the work of George Georgiou, because he takes photos of real life in a place that isn’t very nice. It’s hard to show real life through photography. I think the pictures from the bombings in Istanbul, because it shows the violence and realism that is happening outside of our sheltered world. Alan George makes me want to go out and take random pictures of random couches.
Tony Fouhse. Something about his pictures speaks to me. I love the expressions on the people ’s faces who are in the photos and the all around feel you get when you look at his photographs. I would love to capture the expressions that are usually hidden from everyone else.
Tony Fouhse I would say is the best of the bunch. Because I like the style of his photography and the affects that he uses. The ones of the people that are homeless and have no job or money speak put to me the most. Because the inspire me to try harder in school so that I can live a good life and have a job.
Tony Fouhse was the most talented photographer in my opinion. I liked his pictures that focused on life on the streets, I thought they illustrated their subject very well.
Alan George is my favorite photographer out of those. I like the subject matter that he chooses the best. I like the unmasked photo by alan george and all of his wheeled estate pictures. I want to try and do a series of something like that. Just pick one object and take a lot of pictures of that type of object.
In my opinion, Tony Fouhse is the best photographer. I like how he showed the lives of the subjects in the photos. It shows how the different lives that people live and how different areas effect different people. It motivates me to try to get people in their everyday lives and doing their everyday tasks.
George Gergiou was my favorite because his pictures are cool. His pictures speak to me the most because they have personal things in them. I motivates me to maybe take more pictures of everything, not jut something i think will look in the picture.
Well, my favorite onne out of those pictures was the camping one from David Wolf. Also, I liked the one of the water bottle from John Darwell. I liked them because the first one was showing just nature, and the other seemed like nature conquering what we left with it.
When I went to the included photographer’s websites, I thought that David Wolf was the best. I loved the “Transform/Transcend” album. I thought he had a completely different take on architecture photography, and the blur seemed to be planned just right. But, when I looked at the photos shown directly on the linked site, I thought that George Geogiou’s photography was the best. The black and white photographs seemed so candid, and artistic; and I really enjoyed how emotional they were. The images seemed to really make me feel for the subjects.
i like david wolf. i really like the picture above. it is very interesting. cause its like moving? and then there is a bed on the ground. it was great. i really like the picture a lot.
I honestly like almost all of the pictures. The ones taken by George Geogiou are pretty sad though. Because they’re either deformed or it looks mentally challenged sort of. My favorite picture its self is the one taken of the bottle on the rocks at the beach, its all covered in seaweed and what not. I like that one. John Darwell took it, by the way. I kind of think they’re all equally talented. I don’t think one is better than the other. Because like I said I like most all the pictures that were on the website.
The one I liked the best probably would be John Darwell. I thought most of his stuff was pretty cool. But some pictures I wasn’t too excited about. Then one that said the most to me was probably George Geogiou because his were real and really gives you another look on what’s happening in the world. Or what did happen.
I think that George Geogiou was the most talented of the group. His pictures of the psychiatric clinic are moving. The guy with no legs made me really sad.
I like George Geogiou I like him because he takes pictures of people that are in need. He is taking pictures about what they go through everyday. It is sad that so many people have to fight for survival and a lot of people get everything handed to them. I don’t think it is fair.
My favorite of those photos was the 2nd one down and there are 2 people eating and 1 little boy standing on the other side of the wall. I like it because I think that the people eating didn’t want to share their food with the other little boy so that they could eat the food, which they never get enough of.
I like David Wolf. I think that his style is unique. I like the one in the left behind folder. The one with the mirror leaning up. I like how its a picture within a picture. I kinda like the blury city and building pictures but its a little too blury to me.
I like John Darwell, and David Wolf also the On Notice selection. I like all of those photographer’s and selections, because they’re different and they cot my eyes. The images that spoke to me the most was the water bottle with moss, the mattress with the moving van in the background, and the camping photo. I liked those because, I have never seen a photo like any of them. All of them have something about them that motivates me to try some things different.
I don’t understand Alan George’s work. It just confuses me. The most talented photographer out of all on the page, to me, is John Darwell. His pictures are shot of things that stand out to me like nature. The picture of litter of a water bottle with moss growing on it speaks the most to me because it shows how humans tend to treat the earth. The style of that picture motivates me to take more pictures up close or in macro mode.
I really like George Geogiou. He really captured the emotion from the picture more than the other photographers. I like the picture with the old man. It sends a message of helplessness I think.
George Geogiou was my favorite out of the bunch of photographers. George stood out to me the most because i liked how his photo’s were in black and white, and how in everyone of them you could see the message being put across. The image that speaks to me the most is the second to last one of goerge’s, where the guy looks as if he is screaming.
My favorite was George Geogiou I really like his style. I think he delivers a very strong messages about the horror’s that are occurring here behind closed doors. IT shows that although Serbia has come a long way there is still a long way to go. I think the black and white gives it a cold war feel. It really has a dark cold feel to it which helps deliver the message of suffering to the viewer.
I especially liked the pictures of George Geogiou because they were not like any I have seen before. I think that his pictures have the voice of the disabled people in them and that the message is very strong. The styles in most of the pictures I did not like that much and I don’t think that I will try them.
So, I’m not going to lie i kinda liked them all. But if i really had to pick a favorite I think I would go with David Wolf. His pictures were very creative, and very interesting.
Or George Georgiou had very different picture that made me stop and stare for i minute. I thought what was going on with these people. Made me feel grateful for..well me.
John Darwell is the best out of those photographers. I think he is the best because his images seem to be so bright and unique and have an original character for each picture. My favorite picture of his, is the picture of the water bottle with all the scum on it. For some reason I think that picture is really interesting.
I like John Darwell’s photography the most out of all of the photographers. I think he is the most talented because of his composition and what he chooses to photograph. The picture that speaks to me the most is “Nagasaki at Night.” I think any landscape picture is moving and I love city lights. Most of his pictures don’t have a lot of sky, and little land, or a lot of land, and little sky. Most of his photos are half sky and half land and maybe that is something I would like to try.
Which photogrpaher do you think is the most talented of the group? john darrell Why? because i think that his photographs are really interesting… Which image speaks to you the most? well the image that i think that speaks to me the most is the one with the canoe.. Why? because it has a canoe in it!! sheesh why else.. Do any of them have a style that motivates you to try something different? no, not really..
My favorite photographer was George Geogiou- Hidden: Psychiatric Institutions in Kosovo and Serbia. I liked how he photographed issues that actually might mean something to some of us. He photographer a few psychiatric institutions in some poor countries, rather than a bottle on a beach, although I did think that picture was one of the cooler ones. Those are the images that speak to me the most.
The black and white-ish effect in those pictures inspires me to photograph something personal and use a setting other then just “color” for once!
George Georgiou. I think he has the most talent out of all of them. The reason, George’s pictures seem to have more depth of field, and thought applied to them. Some of the other photos from the other photographers appear to be flat, and too bright in some areas. His styles give me a little hint on some ideas that I could build, but not as much to be able to form a solid idea.
