Take a look at the photographs by the photographers HERE. I bet you can predict my questions.

Which photogrpaher do you think is the most talented of the group? Why? Which image speaks to you the most? Why? Do any of them have a style that motivates you to try something different?

I Think David Wolf’s pictures are the best because they are like a trashy but original set up photo’s and character comes out of some of them at me. I really liked the tv one right in the middle of a old concrete set up of some sort. They motivate me to shoot the original stuff.

I liked David Wolf, and John Darwell’s photographs. I like the U-Haul truck next to a bums home, its kinda of humorous. and one by John would be one like the near empty parking lot on the beach, you would think it would be full, the old canoe on the old creek just left there. If I ever found it I would take it and fix it for use, and the water tower was cool, reminds me of one I know of around here. all the styles motivate me to take pictures.

  3. R@chel Peter-son says:

I really liked the photographs of Alan George and John Darwell. I liked the simplicity of the photographs of Alan George. I liked John Darwell’s work because I thought that it offered some different angles and some really neat views. My favorite photo was the water bottle on the beach with water and seaweed. I like how you can see through the water in the bottle. The composition was very pleasing to the eye. I think that all of them offered a little bit different styles that motivate me to try.

  4. B R A N D O N D E S I M O N E says:

I like the work of George Georgiou, because he takes photos of real life in a place that isn’t very nice. It’s hard to show real life through photography. I think the pictures from the bombings in Istanbul, because it shows the violence and realism that is happening outside of our sheltered world. Alan George makes me want to go out and take random pictures of random couches.

Tony Fouhse. Something about his pictures speaks to me. I love the expressions on the people ‘s faces who are in the photos and the all around feel you get when you look at his photographs. I would love to capture the expressions that are usually hidden from everyone else.

  6. D@4T0NA says:

Tony Fouhse I would say is the best of the bunch. Because I like the style of his photography and the affects that he uses. The ones of the people that are homeless and have no job or money speak put to me the most. Because the inspire me to try harder in school so that I can live a good life and have a job.

  7. carsOn_ralph says:

Tony Fouhse was the most talented photographer in my opinion. I liked his pictures that focused on life on the streets, I thought they illustrated their subject very well.

  8. j_osh WARN_ick says:

Alan George is my favorite photographer out of those. I like the subject matter that he chooses the best. I like the unmasked photo by alan george and all of his wheeled estate pictures. I want to try and do a series of something like that. Just pick one object and take a lot of pictures of that type of object.

  9. k8e may says:

In my opinion, Tony Fouhse is the best photographer. I like how he showed the lives of the subjects in the photos. It shows how the different lives that people live and how different areas effect different people. It motivates me to try to get people in their everyday lives and doing their everyday tasks.

  10. J a m i e D e u e l says:

George Gergiou was my favorite because his pictures are cool. His pictures speak to me the most because they have personal things in them. I motivates me to maybe take more pictures of everything, not jut something i think will look in the picture.

  11. b r a n d o n r e a g a n says:

Well, my favorite onne out of those pictures was the camping one from David Wolf. Also, I liked the one of the water bottle from John Darwell. I liked them because the first one was showing just nature, and the other seemed like nature conquering what we left with it.

  12. MeGaN LeVeNbErG says:

When I went to the included photographer’s websites, I thought that David Wolf was the best. I loved the “Transform/Transcend” album. I thought he had a completely different take on architecture photography, and the blur seemed to be planned just right. But, when I looked at the photos shown directly on the linked site, I thought that George Geogiou’s photography was the best. The black and white photographs seemed so candid, and artistic; and I really enjoyed how emotional they were. The images seemed to really make me feel for the subjects.

  13. Michaela Paige. says:

i like david wolf. i really like the picture above. it is very interesting. cause its like moving? and then there is a bed on the ground. it was great. i really like the picture a lot.

  14. Dane!!e Corcoran says:

I honestly like almost all of the pictures. The ones taken by George Geogiou are pretty sad though. Because they’re either deformed or it looks mentally challenged sort of. My favorite picture its self is the one taken of the bottle on the rocks at the beach, its all covered in seaweed and what not. I like that one. John Darwell took it, by the way. I kind of think they’re all equally talented. I don’t think one is better than the other. Because like I said I like most all the pictures that were on the website.

  15. e riC fi$h_a says:

The one I liked the best probably would be John Darwell. I thought most of his stuff was pretty cool. But some pictures I wasn’t too excited about. Then one that said the most to me was probably George Geogiou because his were real and really gives you another look on what’s happening in the world. Or what did happen.

  16. er.in burn.side says:

I think that George Geogiou was the most talented of the group. His pictures of the psychiatric clinic are moving. The guy with no legs made me really sad.

  17. e M i L e E C o R d O n says:

I like George Geogiou I like him because he takes pictures of people that are in need. He is taking pictures about what they go through everyday. It is sad that so many people have to fight for survival and a lot of people get everything handed to them. I don’t think it is fair. :( My favorite of those photos was the 2nd one down and there are 2 people eating and 1 little boy standing on the other side of the wall. I like it because I think that the people eating didn’t want to share their food with the other little boy so that they could eat the food, which they never get enough of.

  18. M!nna Waters says:

I like David Wolf. I think that his style is unique. I like the one in the left behind folder. The one with the mirror leaning up. I like how its a picture within a picture. I kinda like the blury city and building pictures but its a little too blury to me.

  19. A_L_Y_S_S_A sChMiDt says:

I like John Darwell, and David Wolf also the On Notice selection. I like all of those photographer’s and selections, because they’re different and they cot my eyes. The images that spoke to me the most was the water bottle with moss, the mattress with the moving van in the background, and the camping photo. I liked those because, I have never seen a photo like any of them. All of them have something about them that motivates me to try some things different.

  20. An+h0n^ I-n-e-z says:

I don’t understand Alan George’s work. It just confuses me. The most talented photographer out of all on the page, to me, is John Darwell. His pictures are shot of things that stand out to me like nature. The picture of litter of a water bottle with moss growing on it speaks the most to me because it shows how humans tend to treat the earth. The style of that picture motivates me to take more pictures up close or in macro mode.

  21. nikolas s says:

I really like George Geogiou. He really captured the emotion from the picture more than the other photographers. I like the picture with the old man. It sends a message of helplessness I think.

  22. b r e e f r a z e r says:

George Geogiou was my favorite out of the bunch of photographers. George stood out to me the most because i liked how his photo’s were in black and white, and how in everyone of them you could see the message being put across. The image that speaks to me the most is the second to last one of goerge’s, where the guy looks as if he is screaming.

  23. J@red Mc\/ers$ says:

My favorite was George Geogiou I really like his style. I think he delivers a very strong messages about the horror’s that are occurring here behind closed doors. IT shows that although Serbia has come a long way there is still a long way to go. I think the black and white gives it a cold war feel. It really has a dark cold feel to it which helps deliver the message of suffering to the viewer.

  24. -S A R A H S T. J O H N- says:

I especially liked the pictures of George Geogiou because they were not like any I have seen before. I think that his pictures have the voice of the disabled people in them and that the message is very strong. The styles in most of the pictures I did not like that much and I don’t think that I will try them.

  25. B..ri*tt*an.y&G*g.r.e*e.ne says:

So, I’m not going to lie i kinda liked them all. But if i really had to pick a favorite I think I would go with David Wolf. His pictures were very creative, and very interesting.
Or George Georgiou had very different picture that made me stop and stare for i minute. I thought what was going on with these people. Made me feel grateful for..well me.

  26. B!@in3 W00D$ says:

John Darwell is the best out of those photographers. I think he is the best because his images seem to be so bright and unique and have an original character for each picture. My favorite picture of his, is the picture of the water bottle with all the scum on it. For some reason I think that picture is really interesting.

  27. M!randa.Todd says:

I like John Darwell’s photography the most out of all of the photographers. I think he is the most talented because of his composition and what he chooses to photograph. The picture that speaks to me the most is “Nagasaki at Night.” I think any landscape picture is moving and I love city lights. Most of his pictures don’t have a lot of sky, and little land, or a lot of land, and little sky. Most of his photos are half sky and half land and maybe that is something I would like to try.

  28. m@rt!n m@tt$on says:

Which photogrpaher do you think is the most talented of the group? john darrell Why? because i think that his photographs are really interesting… Which image speaks to you the most? well the image that i think that speaks to me the most is the one with the canoe.. Why? because it has a canoe in it!! sheesh why else.. Do any of them have a style that motivates you to try something different? no, not really..

  29. -hailey,wilson! says:

My favorite photographer was George Geogiou- Hidden: Psychiatric Institutions in Kosovo and Serbia. I liked how he photographed issues that actually might mean something to some of us. He photographer a few psychiatric institutions in some poor countries, rather than a bottle on a beach, although I did think that picture was one of the cooler ones. Those are the images that speak to me the most.

The black and white-ish effect in those pictures inspires me to photograph something personal and use a setting other then just “color” for once!

  30. Log@n WALL@C3 says:

George Georgiou. I think he has the most talent out of all of them. The reason, George’s pictures seem to have more depth of field, and thought applied to them. Some of the other photos from the other photographers appear to be flat, and too bright in some areas. His styles give me a little hint on some ideas that I could build, but not as much to be able to form a solid idea.
